Laya Burgan

Laya has extensive experience in the residential and mixed-use sectors in London. She is well versed in the local space guidelines for designing new homes and has a keen interest in realising unconventional typologies that facilitate creative living in the city. She has most recently been part of a team working on four residential buildings in East London through RIBA Stages 3-5.

Laya is also proactive in mentoring initiatives within and outside the practice, and is currently a RIBA Ambassador running workshops with schools to encourage young students in exploring their design skills and excite their interest in sustainable Architecture.
