Aran is a confident and ambitious designer with a pragmatic approach to the use of space and materials. He has an aptitude for the art of architecture, which informs his creative processes to create buildings of interest that function and cater for all. These passions led him to be nominated for the RIBA President’s Medal Bronze Award, for his university project that involved the productive re-generation of a declining industrial landscape in London’s Lea Valley. The project referenced the history and interconnected nature of the site in a compelling narrative and sustainable design, additionally earning the Howells CLEAN award.



After graduating from Loughborough University’s School of Architecture, Aran has worked on a range of residential and commercial projects, developing his creative problem-solving abilities, knowledge of design codes and understanding contemporary challenges in the built environment. His skills have been utilised on multiple projects including the WAF ‘Highly Commended’ Hayle North Quay development, where his attention to detail and thoroughness helped the team deliver technical design proposals.



Aran is enthused by the unique opportunities of each site he works on, taking care to understand the story of a place and its people, to enrich architectural placemaking.
