Matt's expertise lies in designing for and delivering significant public and cultural projects set within important historical and heritage contexts. He is a key member of our Creative Reuse and Heritage group.
He oversaw the design and construction of our RIBA National Award-winning scheme at Chedworth Roman Villa for the National Trust; led the project for a Clore Learning Centre at the Roman Baths in Bath, making more of this Roman site publicly accessible and opening the experience to new audiences; and was responsible for the renovation of the V&A's Raphael Court.
He spearheaded an 'arrested decay' approach to the conservation of Alexandra Palace, working to bring derelict but highly significant parts of the 'People's Palace' back to public use, the most important investment in this landmark north London site in 30 years.
