Kat Larriva

Kathryn is an Urban Designer and a passionate advocate for creating distinctive, cherished places that embrace community, culture, and the environment. Throughout her career, she has blended her strengths as a strategic thinker and visual communicator to clearly convey the vision and gather support for complex proposals.

She understands that great communities function as an ecosystem that requires balance to thrive. She helped shape numerous masterplans, including Kirkstall Forge, Brabazon and Newlands Common. Having studied landscape architecture, she recognizes the value that landscape and public space create and is a champion of improving connectivity and balancing movement in creating successful places.

Her current focus is working with an international multi-disciplinary team on the Barbuda Master Development Plan. As the Design team lead, she is using One Planet Living to help create a master development plan that is designed by Barbudans, for Barbudans.
