Colin Cobb

Colin is a partner and architect in our Bath studio. He has delivered a wide range of education and arts projects, acting as project architect for the innovative Plymouth School of Creative Arts and project lead for the RIBA-award-winning Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a state of the art music college for Birmingham City University.

Colin has developed a specialism for complex higher education and performing arts buildings and the adaption of existing buildings to meet contemporary needs. He is currently working on the extension and refurbishment of an engineering and design facility for The University of Plymouth, the retrofit and expansion of Fareham Theatre in Hampshire, redevelopment of Watford Colosseum and Town Hall, and a major expansion of The Octagon Theatre, Yeovil.

Colin sits on the Design West review panel for North Somerset and Bristol, and has previously been a design reviewer for Bristol Urban Design Forum and a visiting critic and tutor at UWE, Bath University and Sheffield University.
