Andy is an architect with a broad range of experience, but with a particular expertise in conservation and re-use of existing buildings. For 5 years he worked on the Bath Abbey Footprint project, a £20 million scheme at the heart of a World Heritage site. He oversaw the lifting, recording, repair and relay of the 900 engraved ledgers that were installed over a new underfloor heating system using the heat of the Roman Baths thermal spring waters. He also worked on the detail design and construction of the new spaces of the scheme.
More recently, Andy has worked on the final on-site stages of a large student residences in the centre of Cardiff. This 18-storey private residence scheme is on a complex site that integrates a new build tower with a refurbished listed Victorian terrace that also forms part of the student accommodation.
