FCBStudios are winners at World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2023, Green City Kigali has won the WAF Future Project: Masterplanning category.

Green City Kigali is a masterplan for the sustainable and inclusive expansion of urban Kigali, it is a pioneering project that seeks to serve as a model for sustainable urban development that can be replicated across Rwanda and the wider region. It creates new paradigms with innovative, sustainable, affordable, climate change resilient and place-specific urban models, the first of its kind in Africa.

The project will go on to compete for Future Project of the Year at WAF on Friday 1 December.
