Globe Point, a landmark speculative office building in Leeds, the first to be built within the Temple Leeds Masterplan for CEG, won an award for best Commercial Workspace at the British Council for Offices northern awards last night.

The Judges noted "the sensitive design overcame a number of challenges on a narrow, irregular site, close to the immediate conservation area. Designed to deal with the demands of changing workplace strategies, Globe Point raises the bar in terms of workspace quality, amenities, occupant wellbeing and sustainability."

Globe Point is five floors of healthy, flexible, next generation workspace – recognised with a BREEAM Excellent rating, Wired score Platinum and a NABERS score of 4.5, with a ground floor café kitchen and business lounge, located close to Leeds City Station.
